St Margaret’s Way Development Shortlisted for Prestigious Award

We are delighted to announce that St Margaret’s Way in Leverstock Green, Hemel Hempstead has been named a finalist in the Inside Housing Development Awards 2025 in the category of Best Affordable Housing Development (£10m to £20m).

The awards celebrate the best in UK residential development, recognising schemes that raise the bar for design, sustainability and community impact.

Completed in May, the St Margaret’s Way development delivers 46 much-needed new council homes for social rent. The scheme provides a high-quality mix of one and two bedroom flats, each with its own private balcony, as well as two and three bedroom houses with private gardens.

This development is especially significant as it includes Dacorum Borough Council’s 500th new council home, a landmark moment in their ongoing commitment to providing affordable housing for members of the local community.

Sustainability was a key focus throughout the design and build process. Homes are equipped with triple glazed windows, secure cycle storage and access to communal electric vehicle charging points, ensuring the development supports modern, environmentally conscious lifestyles.

Philip Pank Partnership was proud to act as Employer’s Agent and Cost Consultant on this project, working closely with the council and the wider project team to deliver homes that will make a lasting difference for the community.
